60 YEARS. ONE COMMUNITY. ONE WEEKEND.

In 2026, Barbados celebrates 60 years of independence, and the Barbados Association of Winnipeg is bringing our community together to mark the occasion.

For decades, the Association has helped Bajans in Manitoba stay connected, celebrate our culture, and keep our roots alive across generations.

Whether you were born in Barbados, grew up in Manitoba, or simply grew up hearing stories of home around the dinner table, this weekend is for you.

A celebration of where we come from, who we are, and the community we continue to build together.

60 years of independence. Decades of community. One weekend to celebrate it all – Learn More.
